Three cruise ships from Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Joy, and Queen Elizabeth delayed their return to PortMiami, Florida, on October 26, 2026 due to rough weather conditions. The ships were completing 4-night Bahamas sailings and QueenElizabeth was finishing a 12-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary. The dock schedule for PortMiami confirmed that all three vessels were arriving late. This meant plans were delayed for guests debarking the three ships, and incoming guests for Queen Elizabeth and Norwegian Joy had their Tuesday embarkations pushed back. Norwegian Cruise Line is offering up to $300 per person to reimburse changes or cancellation fees not covered by travel insurance or the airline. A fourth vessel, TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 1, skipped a stop in PortMiami altogether due to the weather delay.
