MIAMI - At least 2 people were injured Thursday afternoon after part of a crane fell on top of a vehicle on a Fort Lauderdale bridge.
It happened on the SE 3rd Avenue bridge near 4th Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Images from Chopper 4 showed part of the structure on top of a black vehicle. Another vehicle with front-end damage was also affected.
There is a heavy police presence and traffic has been shut down in both directions.
No word on what may have caused the crane to collapse.
