In Hector A.2006, Pena, a lawyer, graduated from law school in Pena, and went to St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. Pena went to Florida International University to receive a bachelor's degree in Criminal Law and received the Magna Cam Loud Award at the graduation ceremony.
