A Louisiana man is missing after he reportedly went overboard on Wednesday during a boating excursion in the Bahamas.

WAFB reported that Cameron Robbins, 18, who graduated from University Laboratory School (U-High) in Baton Rouge days earlier, jumped off the boat as a dare. A video reportedly showed Robbins splashing in the water near the boat before he vanished.

At the time, Robbins and students from other schools were on a graduation trip at the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau. A family friend to WAFB that Robbins’ parents arrived in the Bahamas on Thursday.

The U.S. Coast Guard Southeast is participating in the ongoing search for Robbins.
