The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for missing 64-year-old man, Leon Dunne, who was last seen around 4 p.m. Wednesday near the 200 block of Northeast 44th Street in Deerfield Beach. Dunne is non-verbal and his family has informed detectives that he is mentally challenged. He is about 6 feet tall, weighs around 145 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 64-year-old man who has been reported missing.

According to authorities, Leon Dunne was last seen around 4 p.m. Wednesday near the 200 block of Northeast 44th Street in Deerfield Beach.

He was wearing a black coat, a multi-colored blue-collared shirt, black pants and multi-colored shoes.

BSO spokesperson Gerdy St. Louis said Dunne is about 6 feet tall, weighs around 145 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

She said his family has told detectives that Dunne is mentally challenged and is non-verbal.
