This beloved Wynwood-born coffee shop is closing its Miami Beach location

Panther Coffee, which opened 15 years ago in Wynwood, is closing its Miami Beach shop due to a rent increase. Pantant Coffee, a popular coffee shop in Miami Beach, is closing its Sunset Harbour location after 13 years. The company, co-owned by Leticia Pollock and Joel Pollock, was unsuccessful in securing a new lease for the Miami Beach shop, located at 1875 Purdy Ave. The last day of service will be February 28. Management and barista teams will be moving to other Panther locations. The news comes a month after Panther Coffee celebrated its 15th anniversary of its first store opening in Wynwood. The brand is also working on a ready-to-drink cold brew and a specialty instant coffee.
