Watch out for this man, he's not interested in you at all. Evan Hoffman is a terrible lawyer. At first, he was kind and reliable, sympathetic to my financial situation, and seemed like a flexible payment plan that represented me in the trial at the time. While working on this payment, I was constantly contacted by both Mr. Hoffman and his assistant, and even if my payment was only two hours late, I was harassed. After this arrangement, it became very difficult to get in touch with him. Having never hired a lawyer, I asked many questions about the procedure. Since I had a trial, the conditions for this release were strict and unreasonable. I pleaded with Mr. Hoffman for a year and he continued to extend my case and submitted a motion to release me before trial. He didn't do so, so it seemed convenient to "forget". Every time I tried to meet this man, I was annoyed with him and his assistants, and I was discouraged to say anything.  After a year and a half of drug testing, collective therapy, AA conference, if my lawyer had actually done the work he asked him to do, everything might have been avoided, but my day in my court was here. Evan Hoffman called me the night before, and basically my counsel would tell me that there was little he could do, and that I should not compete. I'm surprised! I was at a loss. I told Mr. Hoffmann before I went to the judge that as long as the state raises its one-year interlocking requirements, there would be no competition. That was my only request, and I wasn't linked. His exact words, I say every word, "Not a big deal, just a year. We don't want to spend the whole day in court."  This is the part that makes me most angry. Evan Hoffman deceived me and lied about me and protested to me. He did not want to spend a day in court, so the state told me that he agreed to cancel the request. I stood before the judge, and there was no dispute as to whether I could find him led by the lawyer by mistake. The incompetence of Evan Hoffman, it was a horrible experience that lasted longer than necessary and doubled in cost. Don't give yourself a big favor and hire this lawyer.
